ਤੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਨੇ
ਇਹ ਜੋ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਮੈਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਨੇ
ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਹੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਨੇ

ਸੁੱਖ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਜੋ ਮੰਗਿਆ
ਸੁੱਖ ਤਾਹੀਂਓ ਸਾਥੋਂ ਸੰਗਦੇ ਨੇ
ਤੇ ਇਹ ਜੋ ਦੁੱਖ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖੇ ਨੇ
ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਸਹੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਨੇ
ਤੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਨੇ

ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਵੱਖ ਹੈ ਸਾਡੀ
ਪਰ ਪੈਂਡੇ ਇੱਕੇ ਥਾਂ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਨੇ
ਤੇ ਇਹ ਜੋ ਰਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਨੇ
ਇਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਦੱਸੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਨੇ
ਤੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਨੇ

That Silence So Beautiful

That silence so beautiful,
She wanted him to hear.
To understand what she meant,
But she'd never share.

That Love of its own kind,
So much emotions and care.
'cuz theirs was one soul,
Though full of despair.

Miss-guided

Tired.. Shattered..
But she wasn't done with life.
Or may be.. she was,
With her soul still alive.
Misguided to live 2 lives:
One.. to be herself,
And the other-the way they wanted her to be.
To hear what they want..
And to use their eyes to see.

Every time she wanted to rise,
Her desires were subdued.
Her imagination was used,
But only to illude.
Until, to her, it was clear
That she has to drop every fear
All the agonies and pains..
She wasn't supposed to bear.

Then,
Smiled at what they taught.
And laughed for what she learnt-
It was her own life..
And never meant to be burnt.
