Little Loving World

She was over-possessive.
He wanted to be a free bird.

      To love her,
      he stayed with her.
      To love him,
      she set him free.

And they lived happily,
in their own little world.

A Pinch of Love

Every night,

with herself she fight,

to prove herself wrong 

and him right.

She wanted his love

But she was alone in the crowd.

And the night was singing

a silence so loud. 

She fought with herself

but couldn't help. 

She called him up.. 

wake him from his dreams..

"Sleeping?", she asked. 

With a sleepy voice,

he said,"Yeah, i'm sleeping".

Then a brief silence

that said a lot. 

"Are you okay?", he asked.

With choked voice,

"Yeah, i'm okay", she said.

And,

a long silence.. 

Then he slept with his dreams.

And in her eyes were gleams.

Though he didn't realize

that shine in her eyes.

But what she didn't ask

and what he didn't tell..

those words unsaid-

they cast a spell.

Again,

she has proved him right

and herself wrong.

And the night sang

a melodious song.

Now, for her it was time

to go there above.

She got what she want-

ਤੇਰੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ 'ਚ ਜੇ ਕਦੇ ਉੱਠ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਈ

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਝੂਠੀ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਗਹਿਣਾ ਜੇ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ

ਹੋਰ ਬੇਸ਼-ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਤੇਰੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਜੇ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਸਕੀ

ਬਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਪਿਅਾਰ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਜੇ ਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਹੀ ਹਾ ਸਕਿਆ

ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸੱਚੀ-ਸੁੱਚੀ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਇਨੇ ਸਮਝਾ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਵੇ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਭਲਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਕਰ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਵੇ

ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸੋਚ ਤੇ ਅਰਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਗ਼ਰੀਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਜ ਤੇ ਅਮੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੱਜ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਪਿੱਠ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਜੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਕੰਮ ਅਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਜੋ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕਰਾ ਬੈਠੇ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਤੀਰ ਜੀਹਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੱਡ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਯੋਧਿਆ ਤੂੰ ਕਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਚੰਦ ਪੈਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਜੋ ਗ਼ੱਦਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ

ਅਜਿਹੇ ਰਾਖ਼ੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

ਮਿੱਠੇ ਬੋਲ ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਬੋਲ ਹੀ ਨਾ ਪਾਵੇ

ਕਿਰਨ, ਅਜਿਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ

And at the same time

Illusion

Every time, the wind-chimes
tune up with the air.

I run towards the door,
wishing you're there.

A Desire

It's been so long,
since with the flow of desires,
everything went along.

Now,
she was standing there alone,
embracing in her thoughts,
everyone who has gone.

She searched every place,
but no one was seen.
She had no clue -
how they have been.

To find those lost souls,
she tried, she cried.
Until the day
when her tears dried.

The last tree was falling.
The last sun was setting.
But she will find them,
with life she was betting.

Though no longing for escape,
but she was in dismay.
She traveled all the roads
till the judgement day.

With yearning for last wish,
she took her last breath.
And,
with the flow of desires,
everything went along
in her life after death.

Love Is All You Need

As strong as rock.
As brittle as glass.
Always so fresh
like dew drops on grass.

As mild as breeze.
As strong as storm.
Always flowing freely
'cuz there ain't any norm.

As narrow as brink.
As vast as sea.
It can make you what
you always wanted to be.

As calm as night.
As playful as twilight.
Without a pinch of it,
nothing can go right.

As deep as an ocean
As high as a hill
If it can give you life,
it can also kill.

As pious as nectar.
As profane as weed.
Wherever you are,
Love Is All You Need.
